52 on Friday - 35/52 { Jackson, MS Photographer }

This week's theme at The Bloom Forum is Reflection. I immediately thought of this photo from a session last fall. We did this session in Fondren which is one of my absolute favorite locations! The windows and benches on this side of the building make for such a great spot! Those windows have such great reflection except I kept seeing myself in it too! We kept moving around and finally decided on this bench and perspective. However, you can still see my head beside the reflection of his head! Anyway...so here's my take on Reflection...with a little Friday humor!

This week I went out on a limb and joined a photography forum - The Bloom Forum! So far it seems like lots of fun and I hope it will stretch my sense of creativity! They also have weekly challenges and so I'm very excited about that! This week's theme is color - and I totally heart color! I almost skipped out on this week's challenge but the fabric for Garon's 1st birthday applique came and I thought it was perfect! Can't wait for my friend Meagan to put it on his t-shirt!

Happy 1st Birthday, Carter!!! { Florence, MS Photographer }

Turning 1 is one of the most anticipated milestones for all babies. But for this baby boy it marks one year since he forever changed the world...for the better! Carter is one of the sweetest babies I have ever had the privilege of knowing, much less photographing! God has used this beautiful little boy to demonstrate His never-ending love and infinite healing power! Looking at these pictures you would never guess the road he has traveled to turn one. You can read all about Carter's miraculous story on their blog: Carter's Journey. We are so blessed to be friends with his sweet parents and now our Garon has the best friend ever!

Meagan and Brandon - Thank you for sharing Carter with me last weekend. It was truly a pleasure to photograph this sweet boy!!!
