This week's theme in our Blog Circle at The Bloom Forum is "emotion." I wasn't feeling extra creative this week but I did take my nephew's one-year photos. Of course, I had to take my boy with me! So here they both are, separately, having a great time on the bridge! These boys make my heart smile!
Now, hop on over to Marsette Guerrero, MDG Photography- Kingwood,Tx Photographer to see her take on this week's theme!
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you enjoy looking at all the photos from the talented photographers in our group!

Fine Art Photography {Ignite} | Bloom
Inspired by Nichole Van
and her group {Elevate}, several photographers and I have decided to
take some time each month to explore the fine art side of photography.
Each month, we will post an image or series of images focused on art and
photography. There are no rules. We just post what comes from the heart and
spark those creative juices, allowing the inner artist a chance to
explore and fly.
Here is my image for our first week. For you photographers out there my processing was pretty basic here. Minor adjustments in Raw and then I combined two Nichole Van textures from her Worn set.
This was so much fun and I'm looking forward to stretching my creativity!
Now, hop on over to Kristi Ahrens-Be Fruitful Photography| Cashmere & Wenatchee area WA photographer and see her lovely photo for the month.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you enjoy the art created by all the the talented photographers in our group!

3|52 - 52 Wednesdays
This week's theme in our Blog Circle at The Bloom Forum is "bokeh." For those of you who have no idea what that is, is the blurred portion of the photo behind or in front of what is in focus. I took this photo of my son last Friday afternoon. I just love the creamy bokeh created by my 85mm 1.8 lens. I don't use this lens often enough and was so glad I grabbed it Friday.
Now, hop on over to Elaine's blog - Elaine Melko, Chicago to see her beautiful photo of the week!
Thanks for stopping by...hope you enjoy this week's circle!

Bloom 2|52 - Eyes {Jackson, MS Photographer}
This week the theme for our group in The Bloom Forum is EYES! Oh how I love eyes! There's nothing like a photo with clear, sharp eyes with beautiful catchlights! But I also wanted to incorporate my family into the theme so I included my 3 boys...my husband is anti-camera so he didn't make it in of this weeks photos.
Now...hop on over to Sarah's Blog: Sarah Phillips, MG Design Photography- Lincoln, CA Photographer to see her take on this week's theme!
I know I am totally biased but I think my boy has the prettiest blue eyes ever! And he is so expressive! He could raise one eyebrow at just a few weeks old! One look from these Baby Blues and my heart melts!
Playing "Peekaboo" with me...
And last but not least...my furry babies! Pepper and Bo are the sweetest Shelties ever! Pepper is painfully shy and Bo extremely playful and outgoing. Pepper is 6 and Bo is 3. They really are small versions of Lassie! They will forever be my babies too! Don't they have the sweetest eyes?

52 Wednesdays ~ 1|52 {Jackson, MS Photographer}
At the Bloom Forum, Project 52 is a year long assignment with one
theme per week, each week for an entire year. We’re given a week to
photograph whatever the theme means to us then we all link to each
other’s blogs creating a giant circle. You can start at any person’s
blog and you’ll always end up back where you started. You’ll have fun,
meet some great women from across the world (yes world we have
international ladies here!) and see some stunning photographs along the
way.
Please note – due to differing time zones the circle may not be complete until late in the day.
This week's theme is "morning." Here in Mississippi we have had lots of foggy mornings lately. I snapped this photo Monday morning on my way to work (at my full-time job). These trees are at the main entrance of our subdivision and I just loved the dead trees in the fog. And I didn't notice the bird's nest until I was processing tonight...it's my favorite part of the photo.
Now, jump on over to Becca's blog: Becca Robinson - Pittsboro, NC Photographer and see her take on this week's theme!

The Best of 2011
First of all, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of my awesome clients! 2011 was a great year for me and I had so many wonderful sessions and I had so much fun at each one. Thank you for sharing your families with me and for the privilege of capturing memories for you this past year! As a little thank you gift, I thought it would be fun to have a little contest. I have chosen my favorite images from 2011 sessions and wedding. There are 13 images in all. The winner will receive a $50 gift card toward a 2012 session and the runner up will receive a $25 gift card toward a 2012 session.
There are two ways to vote...you can comment on the photo on my FaceBook page in the Best of 2011 album...but you have to comment...likes do NOT count! Or by clicking on the poll at the bottom of the blog. Either way I will tally the votes and the most votes wins. So email all your friends and tell them to vote for your photo! Hurry...contest ends January 15 at midnight!
